Online Greek Coinage | An international project to build a typology of the coinage of the Ancient World

Online Greek Coinage is an international project with the goal of creating an ecosystem for the presentation of Ancient Greek Coinage on the World Web, drawing on a number of Linked Open Data resources.  In May 2014 the project was awarded the patronage of the International Numismatic Council.

Since 2018 the project has received European funding through the JPICH funding stream.  This has provided the opportunity for the ARCH project to create the first high-level typology for the whole of Greek coinage.
