Dr. Oğuz Tekin, is a Professor of Archaeology and History of Art at Koç University and the Director of the Suna & İnan Kıraç Research Center for Mediterranean Civilizations (AKMED), Antalya. He is a specialist in ancient numismatics and commercial weights, and in the monetary history, ancient economy and markets of the cities of Asia Minor from the Archaic period to the end of Roman Imperial period.
