Findspots

We are developing a database of all hoards either found in Anatolia or containing Anatolian coins, from the seventh through to the first century BC, as recorded in the comprehensive publications the Inventory of Greek Coin Hoards and the ten volumes of Coin Hoards. This is going to be made publicly available through coinhoards.org. The database will allow detailed analysis of the circulation and use of Anatolian coinages.

The CHANGE Project Site Finds Database  provides basic data on published coins found in archaeological excavations in the region of Anatolia and neighbouring islands, with production dates between c. 700 and 30 BC. This tool is intended to support research into monetary production and circulation in Archaic, Classical and Hellenistic Anatolia.
